Treat your dental crown like a natural tooth. Floss daily and brush your teeth at least twice a day, ideally with an electric toothbrush. This will help prevent possible gum disease or new decay. If you pay attention to your dental hygiene, this type of crown can last between ten and twenty years. Above all, let Dr. Comeau know if you grind your teeth or tend to clench them.
